History:
Jordan has a robust activity history including dance, gymnastics, soccer, figure skating, and volleyball. These days you can find her hitting the slopes on her snowboard, moving heavy weight at the gym, and attempting to golf.
Jordan’s active lifestyle and struggles with her own physical limitations and weight encouraged her to pursue a degree in kinesiology in order to help people move better to feel better. She is passionate about using fitness to improve well-being from physical, mental, emotional, and social perspectives.
Trainee Type:
Jordan enjoys working with a variety of clients. She has ample experience with injuries/ chronic conditions, but also enjoys working with athletes, people looking to change their physique, or anyone who wants to improve their quality of life.
Training Philosophy:
Motion is lotion! Moving your body is the simplest way to feel good.
Favourite Exercise:
Step ups! These really fire up the glutes and quads, plus this is a unilateral weight bearing exercise so there’s a balance component too. Step ups are a very functional exercise and can be performed in a variety of ways.
